Group Courses of 15 or 20 Hours per Week

Taught by teachers specialized in French as a Foreign Language (FLE), our group French courses in Tours are designed for students of all levels, both in groups and individually, for short or long stays, with general objectives defined according to international standards.

Throughout the year, IEFT offers these group courses of 15 or 20 hours per week. The 20-hour groups also offer immersive and original workshops. These workshops allow you to deepen specific skills such as DELF, phonetics, or grammar, or to enrich your cultural knowledge with original and unique offerings.

In summary, with group French courses, you benefit from:

Semi-Intensive French Course (15 hours)

Progress in French in a balanced way with morning classes from Monday to Friday and afternoons to discover Touraine at your own pace or follow a special program organized by IEFT.

This 15-hour weekly group French course (20 lessons of 60 minutes) consists of:

    • 15 hours of general French to work on speaking and writing
    • group French classes from 9 AM to 12:20 PM, with a 20-minute break mid-morning
    • alternating work between written and oral skills

Students are regularly assessed and graded to monitor their progress.

Intensive French Course (20 hours)

Progress rapidly and in a balanced way in French, thanks to the 15-hour weekly group French course, with an additional 5 hours consisting of specialized modules and workshops on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

This 20-hour weekly intensive French course consists of:

    • 15 hours of general French to work on speaking and writing
    • classes from 9 AM to 12:20 PM, with a 20-minute break mid-morning
    • 5 hours of workshops on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

The modules and workshops offered during these afternoons are diverse and varied: phonetics workshops, cultural discovery workshops (culture, civilization, gastronomy, literature, art, song, etc.), DELF/DALF exam preparation workshops, practical workshops (conversation, communication, study orientation, theater, etc.), or French for specific purposes.

Students are regularly assessed and graded to monitor their progress and determine their level change.
