As part of our cultural activities, Institut de Touraine students recently enjoyed a wonderful experience at the CCCOD – Centre de création contemporaine Olivier-Debré in Tours.
Accompanied by Sylvie, a group of Indian students discovered this emblematic site of contemporary art. The visit was an opportunity to explore a variety of works, to ask questions about the artistic approaches presented and to exchange impressions.
In addition to cultural discovery, this outing enabled students to practice their French in real-life situations, by expressing their feelings, asking questions and sharing their points of view. These moments of exchange contribute fully to language learning and a better understanding of French culture.
Our warmest thanks go to the CCCOD for its warm welcome, to Sylvie for her guidance, and of course to the students for their curiosity and enthusiasm throughout this artistic immersion.
These cultural outings are an integral part of Institut de Touraine’s pedagogical approach, enabling our students to experience the French language at the heart of local cultural life.
