On Wednesday May 27, Institut de Touraine is organizing an excursion to the Château de Chenonceau. Nicknamed the Château des Dames, this Renaissance gem is one of the most famous châteaux in the Loire Valley. Partly built on the Cher River, it features unique architecture, elegant gardens and a history marked by great female figures.
This visit is an opportunity to discover an emblematic French heritage site while sharing a moment of exchange with other international students.

Discover the Château d’Amboise during your French immersion – May 27
On the same day, a second excursion is offered to the Château Royal d’Amboise. Overlooking the Loire River, this historic site offers a remarkable panoramic view of the town, and a glimpse into the history of the kings of France.
